Here are my sketchbook pages from the first figure drawing session of the year, last Saturday the 16 of January 2021 at Art Works in Eagan. I just brought a simple sketch book and an ink pen with water soluble ink and a water brush to push it around a little bit.
I tried to just sort of generalize the face since I have decided I am really not going to draw masks.
Maybe I should be trying to use the mask in my art as some sort of a statement of the time but I decided I am just not going to do it.
I will remember the time of Covid just fine without having it reflected in my sketches.
Anyway, I was somewhat happy with my attempts here.
